About

Our story, mission, and place in Caribbean agriculture

Caribbean farmer in a greenhouse

Our story

Rooted in the Caribbean. Built for what’s next.

Green-Hydro began with a simple conviction: that small islands can feed themselves, sustainably, with the right technology in the right hands. We grow clean hydroponic produce in Dominica and open our distribution network to the traditional farmers who have always fed these communities.

We sit within the OECS and CARICOM agricultural landscape as a bridge — between modern growing methods and generational farming knowledge, between local producers and the buyers who want what they grow.

Mission & values

Why we do this

Sustainable

90% less water than soil farming, no pesticides, and a footprint that fits any island.

Food security

Year-round local yield means less import dependence and fresher food for the region.

Community

Every traditional farmer we onboard gains access to broader markets and digital tools.

Looking ahead

Our growth roadmap

Expanding produce lines, adding payment and logistics integrations, and bringing more OECS farmers onto the Exchange — one harvest at a time.
